How to use QVideoDeviceSelectorControl class to get the list of video devices?

Here is the link to the class i’m talking about, http://doc-snapshot.qt-project.org/qt5-table/qtmultimedia/qvideodeviceselectorcontrol.html, basically I want to get the list of available camera devices, so that user can select the device they want to use. In the QVideoDeviceSelectorControl Class they have a function which can do just this. I’m using windows 7 & QT 5.0.2. If anyone out there who have used this class to enumerate the camera devices, please guide me in the right direction.
